In this contemporary fairy tale, Melody Perrault's grief at her mom's death drives her to the point she's ready to end it all. Before she can, she's magicked asleep—her soul brought into the Dream Realm by its king. No prince's kiss will wake this Sleeping Beauty. She has to choose to save herself.
Complete at 85,000 words, AWAKENING MELODY is a YA modern fairy tale retelling that combines myth, legend, and a healthy dose of good old-fashioned magic.

Abbie Smith never felt like she belonged in the world she was part of. Her dreams were filled with figures from Colonial America, like John and Abigail Adams. When her family takes a trip to Philadelphia, she has no idea how it will change her life. Magic fills the air as she's stolen into a world of colonial evening parties, patriots, Red Coats, and first love.
Her life in 1775 is more than she ever would have even thought to wish for. She actually has friends who talk back, and she's surrounded by people who seem to understand her. Then disaster strikes in the form of a lantern.
After falling down a flight of stairs, she finds herself back in the present, but everything's different. Wrong. British flags line the streets, and pounds and pence are being exchanged in the stores. Flipping through a history book, she discovers the mistake she's made.
Can she find her way back to 1775 and get things back to normal? Or will the United States never even have a chance to exist?

As much as Rayna loved mythology, she never would've even wished to be part of it. Unfortunately, she didn't have much choice. After getting tricked into the Underworld by none other than Hades himself, Rayna's stuck there. Unlike in the original story, she doesn't have a godly mother to throw a fit for her return. It doesn't help that Hades' plan to get his kids back from Olympus (aka Operation Play with the Mortal) works. In fact, it works a little too well.
Soon Rayna finds herself totally entrenched in a world she loved but didn't believe in: selfish gods, unclear motivations, and family drama. But something doesn't feel right--beyond the obvious stuff. Hades and a couple of his kids are behaving even stupider than usual. Someone is pulling strings, and it's up to Rayna to find the puppet-master before all Hell breaks loose. Literally.

Everyone knows the responsibility of Camelot's fall rests squarely on the shoulders of Morgana Le Fay. At least, that's what rumors and history tells us. But history is told by the winners, and while no one would say being trapped in a crystal cave could be considered "winning" Merlin did triumph in one way: making the name of Morgana be counted for evil. Now it's time for her side of the story to come to light.
